SkydivingNurse 0 #26 April 6, 2005 Ask your doctor about having an MRA scan (magnetic resonance angiography). They use a contrast agent and are much more specific for blood vessels. I get cluster headaches, but I've never felt the level of pain you describe. I hope you get rid of those damn headaches.
Muenkel 0 #27 April 7, 2005 Hey folks, Thanks for the encouraging words, advice, vibes and especially the hugs from the hotties. In regard to the various testing that some of you have suggested, I am waiting on a neurological check-up. My neurologist is based out of Dartmouth-Hitchcock which is an excellent facility. Unfortunately he is on sick leave and I have to see someone else in his department. The earliest they are making appointments is July. My internist is working on getting me up there as an emergency patient. So right now, I'm waiting to hear from him. If he is unsuccessful, I'm planning to go down to Yale-New Haven. My next door neighbors' son is an excellent neurosurgeon there and is familiar with my case. One hurdle is Yale-New Haven is not in network with my insurance company. But, my family attorney said they can get around that. Why is my family loaded with lawyers and real estate developers? I could use a good doctor in the family! BTW Keith, I love bowling! However, freakin New England is loaded with candle-pin bowling which I think really sucks. Give me 10 pin anyday. Cheers, Chris _________________________________________ Chris
