riggerrob 644 #4 April 6, 2005 The French Army use tiny cable ties for line stows on static line rigs. Their packing machine was explained in detail at lectures given at the last two PIA Symposia. Hint, their cable wraps are pretty small and flimsy and break at less than 100 pounds. The French figured that cable wraps were quicker to install than break cord or rubber bands. Remember that most armies use 80 pound break cord to close static-line containers.

It was a mirror post inspired by the one about adding acetone to gasoline for "15-35% better mileage" -- which many of us took to be a hoax. -Jeffrey-Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... skydiverton 0 #7 April 7, 2005 Hmm Does that means 3 Cable Ties make your opening 45-105% softer. So soft you will not even feel the opening ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Using your droque to gain stability is a bad habit, Especially when you are jumping a sport rig
