Do you judge people based on their financial background?

Here here!! Someone who understands and isn't covering their eyes with this "the world is so beautiful" blindfold..

It is! Let's all hold hands, sing songs, and play with puppies that are running through fields. :D

I've accepted the fact that many people are superficial and shallow long ago.

Wealth = security = confidence = ease of making friends...

Not talking about happiness.. we're talking about making it easier to make friends. Granted your personality isn't that of a stick.

really, though... just to clarify my feelings....

you DO NOT have to have a lot of money... that really doesn't matter. it's drive, ambition, and the desire to be succesful that matters. like i've told many people before... it doesn't matter if you are a grocery bagger... as long as you are the best goddamn grocery bagger there is!!! B|

Chris's question was does it matter.

It is Chris', not Chris's. I don't care how much money you have...but dammit...use correct grammar.>:(

Chris

I have a bad grammar card.. I'm Texan and I went to UT. :P:P

I went to school with many many many wealthy brats who parents bought them Porsches/other fancy cars for the 16th birthdays. I knew many many many wealthy brats who got out of being arrested for DUIs/pot because of their parents buying them out of trouble. These kids tended to have many more "friends" than anyone else. One girl....her father is a politician. I knew her from dance class for years. One day, her family moved, and she came to my high school. I was friends with her throughout, but the change from when people didn't know who her father was to when they figured it out was phenomenal. Lots of money can buy you lots of friends.

Unless your name is actually the plural of "Chri", his way is also technically correct. :P;):D

And I refuse to contribute to this coversation. Ok, well, except to say that people judge people based on anything imaginable, and sometimes money can be a good indication of a person's drive and/or demeanor in life. If some homeless guy wants to come into my house to use the bathroom, I'm not gonna notice the color of his eyes as a deciding factor regarding whether or not I let him in.

So yes, to a certain extent, I do. Although, it goes both ways. I'm a little intimidated by rich people, so HAVING money will not necessarily make me like you either. I prefer people on my own level, honestly. There, I said it.
