masterrig 1 #5 April 7, 2005 At those prices... ya' gotta! What gets me, are the 'excuses' by the oil companies for raising prices! I can tell you what their problem is... GREED!!! I'd better quit before I get us moved to SC. Chuck

Sorry just had to vent Damn, you live in an oil-importing country, and I live in an oil-exporting country, and yet gas prices appear to be the same--i.e. HIGH... there's something wrong with that! :)
lawrocket 3 #7 April 7, 2005 Gad. You think that's bad? I saw this person at the gas station yesterday buy water at $10.32 per gallon. It was a 16 ounce bottle of water - $1.29 for it. When you compare the price of gas to what people will pay for water (when they can get water out of the tap, even) gas prices dont seem that bad... My wife is hotter than your wife. Wife's car is a Toyota Sequia. Yes I know it is a semi gas hog and a little worse for the enviornment (not as bad as the planes I board to jump from) but it's what my children are transported in. When (it's not a matter of "IF" in California) my wife gets in a wreck, I want my kids to have as much protection as I can afford. The Volvo's were a little out of my reach $$ wise. I understand that there are going to be some new Hybrids being developed that are a little safer. I will be looking into those once the reports are released.
