In many ways, I have been childish and selfish. Who knows, I may truly be the piece of shit that many claim I am. But I really hope I'm not. I'm not perfect. I don't expect myself or anyone else to be. I have skeletons in my closet just like everyone else. Some things are true. Other things are not even close to true. Those of you who really know me should be able to distinguish between what is and isn't by my character and my actions as a friend, acquaintance, or enemy. The politics of life have a profound way of preventing a view of true character. I can say whatever I want and no one will hear me in the way I mean them to. Things are easily twisted and bent to prove points of view. Therefore, I find it pointless to do so. So say what you want about me. Think what you want about me. Believe what you want about me. I know myself, and I know the person I am inside. If you refuse to see that, then as far as I'm concerned, it's your loss. Thanks for listening. I received an email from someone that spread some pretty hurtful untruths about me right here on dropzone.com I knew what the truth was, as do those that really know me. Sometimes well, people are quick to judge others, and sometimes we need to make allowances for where people are in their lives. This person apologized to me and hoped that I wouldnt hate him. I told him I was glad that he found his way back... Sometimes it takes greater courage to stand in the fire and say nothing even though you know someone has done you wrong. In the end I still would like to believe that people are good at heart. Be true to yourself.
