AggieDave 6 #9 April 8, 2005 Quote but they're so cute!!! Meh. We eat a lot of "cute" things. Does it taste good? Is it sociable acceptable to eat (unlike dog and cat), then cool, lets eat it.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." DrunkMonkey 0 #11 April 8, 2005 I have a friend who, while stationed in Korea, got wicked drunk and went to a place where no other Americans seemed to eat. Turns out he had Schnauzer for dinner... heh.

Not that I'm gonna go to the animal shelter and pick out my dinner, though.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Skolls081102 0 #21 April 8, 2005 I have consmed: Venison Duck Squid Escargot (spelling?) Octopus Baby Octopus Bear Shark I'd like to try: Alligator Buffalo Elk Snake Rabbit MOst of it was pretty tasty. The baby octopus was a little tough- and kind of wierd. So for those who have had snake and alligator- any good? The sole intention, is learning to fly.Condition grounded, but determined to try. Can't keep my eyes from the circling skies.Tongue tied and twisted, just an Earth bound misfit. AggieDave 6 #22 April 8, 2005 Quotefor those who have had snake and alligator- any good? Yes. Both were a bit chewy and the alligator definately tasted a bit like chicken. Snake meat might vary on the kind of snake, I'm not sure though.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
DrunkMonkey 0 #23 April 8, 2005 I think God was tired at about 1130pm on the 6th day, and said 'Ah screw it--all y'all are gonna taste like chicken." [/boarding express train to hell]
Stumpy 284 #24 April 8, 2005 Whats wrong with Kangaroo? Its ok - kind of a slight game taste but not as strong as Venison or something like that. Wouldn't choose it over Lamb tho..... mmmmmNever try to eat more than you can lift
SpeedRacer 1 #25 April 8, 2005 I've had ostrich burger, and a roast emu sandwhich. They raise emus right here in Maryland. Surprisingly, they seem to have no problem dealing with our cold winters (cold compared to Australia). By the way, ostrich and emu DO NOT taste like chicken. They taste like very rare beef. And the meat is red like beef. Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------
