User Profile Changes

Help! I'm trying to change my Forum icon and it won't let me. The pic is within the size range and I get a message that says my profile has been updated-but it's the old pic. What am I doing wrong??

Clear your cache then refresh

In INternet Explorer.

Tools >Internet Options> Temporary Internet files> Delete Files

Refreshed, cleared cache, refreshed---this damn machine is going to be target practice in about 2 minutes!

hmmm, I was having the same problem. So I just got frustrated, clicked no icon and left it for a day. Next day my new avatar FINALLY uploadedTry that--make sure you have no avatar/no icon...wait a day and then retry uploading the new avatar. It worked for me

Nope, it uploaded immediately. The next day you cache refreshed on your machine.

When refreshing your cache (with IE) try to also close down all browser windows and open it again before you check.

Put it back on, and then go to the forums. If you still don't see it, hit refresh.

Yup, I see the correct avatar.

You need to clear your cookies or get a better computer, cause all I have to do is refresh.

Also, if you see some other people's avatars kind of distorted, it means they changed the avatar, and you have to refresh to see the correct one.

I've cleared cookies and refreshed a bunch-but still see my old one distorted. And the 'puter is only a year old! Maybe after restarting it will help.
