Do you know your blood type?

This issue came up on the show "Lost" last night (what a great show!). They needed someone to donate blood and most people didn't know their blood type. Makes me think it's probably true in real life. I had to go look on an old card in my wallet because I wasn't sure. Do you know?

If your a woman who has a negitive blood type (I do) and you have a child with someone with a positive blood type, it is important that they give you a shot because your blood could kill or make your baby sick (if the blood should mix). Knowing your blood type is important! A negative here

it's on my military id card and on my dog tags.... i know mine....... hecki even heard they will let me donate blood again,... got disqualed becasie of living in europe, guess they got desprate and eased the donation requirments.......

You know, I went in to donate platelets on Tuesday, and my iron count was too low.

I love donating platelets. Now I have to go back later.

I've had to know it a few times in the past.

I'm suprised by how many people here are A Neg, its rare, and I've only met 3 or 4 other soldiers with it. (I stick close to them in combat, just in case )

I am O+ but I cannot donate blood....seems the red cross dosent want mechanics blood...to much shit in our system...thank god..cause I am scared to death of needles
