Rum and Coke

Ok,

I'm on my third Rum and Coke tonight, so I thought I would see how you guys thought about the Rum and Cokes.

It starts as rum and coke, then rum easy coke, then rum and a splash of coke, next thing I know (about 2 hours later max) someone is helpingme into a cab. I voted devil's drink.

We had that big blizzard here in CO today, and I got the call that tommorow is a snow day at Peterson AFB, so I don't have to go into work. My wife works at Schriever AFB, and they havn't gottent the call yet, so She is asleep. and I'm burning the midnight oil here on DZ.com. I'm now on number 4. Half cup ful of Ice. 3/4 Rum rest coke...

I have also been on this no soda no cafine diet since Jan this year, and this is the first time I have really broken it, so I'm kindof wired from the Cafine. If I had a Yaeger bomb, I would be walking on the ceiling right now.

am in the af reserves, moved to ohio, liking the lower altitude alot.. next timei'm in Colo sprngs i'll have to look ya up... might be back up there in the near future (june/july)

rum (most hard liquors actually) gives me amnesia, so i pretty much stopped drinking them years ago. beer is good, it doesn't tend to sneak up on you. when i start to get full, time to slow down.

and them some asshole will wander by with a bottle of jagermeister.

Cuba Libres rock.... I really like using Black Diamond (I know, not the most expensive rum, but hey, I'm not a high maintaince type anyway) Rum.... good sugar gone bad, what's not to like?
But, to really party, you need to throw a GoFast and Vodka in there every so often (or if you're in a regular bar - redbull and vodka... but drink the rum first so the taste of the redbull isn't so bad)

"Cappn 'n Coke" is my most common non-beer order at the bar.

Man, it's addictive. Also, for those of us whose significant others (or one night stands, or whatever) don't like liquor, every girl like rum and coke second hand.
