huka551 0 #1 April 11, 2005 I just wanted to say that Skydiver's are some of the most generous and giving people I have ever met! They amaze me every time with their giving, everything from a beer, or food, to a jump ticket, or a place to sleep! We are a family through a common thread, and its nice to know that my family will help me and take care of me, without me even asking. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites peacefuljeffrey 0 #9 April 12, 2005 Last month, I was all set to go up to Z-hills for the first time, and didn't know anyone up there except for 'justaflygirl' -- who, when she found out I was coming up but didn't have a place to stay, offered me her family's couch for the weekend! We knew each other only briefly via here and yahoo, so I was kinda shocked (but not surprised, because I know skydivers do treat each other this way and I'm glad for it). I went up there and had a super awesome weekend hanging out with her, her husband, and her kids (oh, and her pets). We three did a jump together, and then her husband and I did a night jump -- my first! He was so cool about talking me through it all. It went perfectly!
