AggieDave 6 #2 April 13, 2005 What a damned...well, I was going to use a derogatory word, but I'll say "wimp." Oh god, the door opened...then shut the damned door. You're not gonna get sucked out and all leaving the door open for landing could do (even if you're trying to hold it semi-closed) is bang up the paint and possibly bend the door/damage the hinges.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." DrunkMonkey 0 #4 April 13, 2005 Dunno dude...I had over 150 jumps when I was asked to be tandem baggage for a friend getting his TM ticket. I was sitting behind the pilot in the 182. There was a water bottle lodged in the pilot's door, and it popped open around 7500. Seeing as I had only the tandem passenger harness, it did rate fairly high on the pucker factor. I wasn't terrified, just was startled and a bit nervous until they closed the door. 'Tis no biggie if you've got a rig on, but otherwise it can be a bit shaking... Naw, I was thinking about the last time I was riding in a C-150 (talk about a tight fit for me) anyways, the door popped open on take off, so I turned so I could reach the latch and shut the door.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
