Hand over Bin Laden or 100 Million Dollars??

This is purely hypothetical.

Say you catch Osama Bin Laden sleeping in your garage one night. You have a gun and can easily detain him before the police arrive....but he pulls out a briefcase and offers you 100 million dollars of untraceble US currency if you let him go.

The rules....
1) Yes, I know the US is offering an award for the arrest of Osama Bin Laden but let's pretend for a second it was only a small amount....like $5,000.

2) If you hand over Bin Laden, the US government won't leak your name out to the press or even give you public recognition. All you will get is your $5,000 and a personal thanks from the President (and the news agencies will just make up a story about the military finding him.)

3) And no, you can't kill him, hide the money somewhere for later, etc... (It's only those two choices).


Would you take the $100 million and let him go?
Or would you hand him over and take the $5,000 award from the US government (with zero publicity), a thanks from the President, and just personal satisfaction?

Considering he's a terrorist, what you're asking is whether anyone would be willing to commit a federal felony (aiding and abetting terrorism) for $100 million.
