Skolls081102 0 #1 April 15, 2005 I'm curious. Up until recently, it was $70 on Gargoyles. But I found a pair of Oakleys that I love. The MSRP is $310- but I know a guy who owns a Surf Shop, so I got them for $225. My wife thinks I'm absolutley crazy- but I look at it as an investment. It's something I'm going to use pretty much everyday for years. So what's the most you have ever spent on sunglasses? And am I nuts? (You don't have to answer the second one ) I forgot to add the picture of my new shades- just did it now) The sole intention, is learning to fly.Condition grounded, but determined to try. Can't keep my eyes from the circling skies.Tongue tied and twisted, just an Earth bound misfit. hisgoofyness 0 #3 April 15, 2005 I also spent about 150.00 on my Maui Jim's; but they are soooo worth every penny. I spent 100.00 on my Gatorz. I have also spent about that much for Oakley's and Revo's as well. I am a sucker for a cool pair of shades... Too bad I break them often... Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me! Kris 0 #12 April 15, 2005 I once shelled out $230 for a pair of Oakley Juliets, but they were too heavy for my taste so I returned them. I'm now on my 2nd pair of Oakley Minutes. I paid about $130 a pair for them and it's the best pair of shades I've ever owned.Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

unformed 0 #15 April 15, 2005 $130 for my Microscoops. 2nd pair I bought. The first one got knocked off my head last fourth of july by the boom as we were pulling a sailboat into the dock. I saw it fall into the water and spent about a half hour looking for them. i love these glasses.... i've seen the minutes, and i think i like them too. i'm considering getting some wiley-x sg-1s for jumping and riding in, since they have replaceable lenses, and i don't like wearing sunglasses on my bike at night ....This ad space for sale. kelel01 1 #17 April 15, 2005 I've spent $60 on a couple of pairs, and I can assure you that they weren't worth it. My Wiley's fell off under canopy, and I never wore the Gucci ones I bought. My next ones will be Gatorz, though, and they'll be about twice that.

TO Hans to get yours for $130?! Nevermind, don't tell me. I'll have nightmares. Mine were $210 + $20 for the second lenses. Before that, I NEVER paid more than $15. Now I have to look after them like my kids. (In fact, I don't let the kids anywhere near them.) I'd have myself cremated in them one day, but I'm not sure they'd melt. Once I learn to go head down and get a picture taken I'll have gotten my money's worth. But F*CK it. The most I've paid for Sunnies that I wear with my contacts is about $50.oo and that was $30 too much. bbarnhouse 0 #24 April 15, 2005 Well my Gatorz aren't as expensive as my Maui Jims. Gatorz were $100 Maui $190 Course I am not pleased that someone lifted 2 pair of Oakleys @ $99.00 each.(damn thieves!) The Gatorz fit my face better, and are cooler looking but the Mauis have superior lenses and are polarized.<---see!!
Skolls081102 0 #25 April 15, 2005 Quotejust ask her how much she spends on shoes Actually, she doesn't. I know, I know- I'm a lucky guy when it comes to having a wife without a shoe fetish- but there's a trade-off. She's a smoker (trying to quit) But at a pack a day, we're talking $180-$200/month. So I figured my $225 investment wasn't all that bad.
