Chrissay 0 #1 April 18, 2005 So my manager wants to take the department out for a team building activity. Basically we would all leave work early one day and go do something together. My idea to go skydiving was shot down, even after I offered to pack for everyone! So does anyone have any ideas? We were kind of thinking like, go bowling, play whirlyball goto an arcade like place such as GameWorks. We really want to do something fun, but are having a hard time thinking of things. wartload 0 #6 April 18, 2005 Although I've never done it, it sounds like maybe playing close-range paintball -- your boss as one team, vs. everyone else -- would be in order. God, but I hate employers who think that retreats and kiddie-camp activities build better workers. Tell him to just hand out raises.

Depending on your budget, maybe you could even get your boss to spring for bowling shirts for the team (check out www.bowlingshirt.com for some great shirts!)."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please.
