Are you addicted to your cell phone??

Recommended Posts

So I park my car at the train station this morning and start frantically looking around. DOH! :o I left my cell phone at home! B| I almost drove home for it. :S

I really don't like talking on phones, and rarely do during the business day, but it provides a certain comfort level that people can reach you if they need to. :|

Is that weird??? :P

I'm the same way. I may not talk on it at all that day, but I need to have it close just in case.

I ABHOR my cell phone, but since daddy pays for it ,( just in case he has any health problems) i keep it by my side. depends on who is calling as to whether or not i answer the phone.... most are just directed to the voicemail... and then they get filed.....

I am sooo addicted to my cell phone. I used like 2000 daytime minutes last month. Thank god for rollover minutes...

But its a shame that i'm going to lose it and the PC very soon

Nope, nobody can top Justi for drunkenness. That girl was feeling zero pain on Sat night. Hell, if she remembers talking to me and Phree I'll be quite amazed.

And as for programming me in, I'd better be speed-dial #1, slackerette!:P

Yep, you are not weird. Well not for that anyway. I almost never turn mine off, even if I turn it silent (then I can still see missed calls) With battery life these days why turn it off?

I like having it in case of emergencies, and like loved ones to have it in case of emergencies. Additionally, I almost never use my home phone, so anything important is coming to my cell. If you want to go even a step further. I expense my cell phone bill to work, and it is sometimes needed during the day or after hours.

While I know it is selfish to assume that people who have a cell phone should be available all the time, it is annoying when people treat it like a wired home phone by leaving it at home, etc. But of course, just because I treat it that way, does not mean they should.

My cell is my only phone. I have a land-line at my house for dial-up access, but I don't even know what the phone number is, and there's no phone hooked up to it.

That said, my cell doesn't get a lot of use other than as an alarm clock. ;)

You bet...I feel the same way...If I go to work or class without my phone...I'm positive someone will call...only when I don't have my phone...So I feel like I'm missing something...and frantically look for it...though I know it's not there...Plus I leave it laying in my room or in the kitchen or something...I'm notorious for doing that......

And to think...3 years ago...I hated this thing...now I can't live without it...WTF!?!?!:S:D
