f1freak 0 #1 April 19, 2005 It'll be two years since alot of us got the call that FreeFlyHol (Holly Kish) was called upstairs to take care of their tired muscles..... I know alot of you never got the chance to meet her, and it's a shame.... FreeFlyHol was the type of person that you just had to like, even if she would try to get you to stop eating REAL food.... She was a TRUE friend and I know she still is.....Holly I'll never forget what you did....HAVE FUN... ...JUST DONT DIE

bbarnhouse 0 #3 April 19, 2005 Thoughts of Holly warm our hearts and bring smiles again, where once there were tears.Holly's Mother was here yesterday, as was Brad. It was good. Holly touched many lives in a profound way, and as long as we all remember she lives on. Fly, fly butterfly....

GravityGirl 0 #9 April 19, 2005 I've been sitting here walking down memory lane thinking of a friend I lost 7 years ago today. I didn't even realize that Holly died five years and one day after that. On Saturday, I found a crystal that Holly had given me. She wore it on every AFF jump and held it tight in her hand all the way to altitude. During her final gear check it was our ritual for me to finish the gear check by tucking her crystal securely into her jumpsuit. When I graduated her, she took that chrystal off her neck and put it around mine. She said that she didn't need it anymore since I had given her wings. You could say my heart aches. But that might be an understatement. Her chrystal is sitting in a box on my windowsill with a special part of my friend Seth. Ironic.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! RevJim 0 #10 April 19, 2005 This is so not fair, Bonnie. Grow men aren't supposed to cry, yet your post succeded in doing just that. Tonight, I raise a glass to Seth and Holly. May they be flying as free as they wish. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#
CanuckInUSA 0 #11 April 19, 2005 QuoteFreeFlyHol was the type of person that you just had to like Holly was the type of person who would hug a stranger. I know this because she essentially did this to me before we even knew each other and became friends with each other. The first time I met Holly, we were both on an Eloy Otter and she kissed me because myself and some friends were about to do my 100th. She was a special woman and is definitely still missed and loved by many. "Party like a rock star" - one of Holly's favorite sayings. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
Rebecca 0 #12 April 19, 2005 Her avatar alone, not to mention her personality in every post, made me really want to meet her. In fact, I think she was the first person on DZ that I thought that about... She always seemed to buzz with good energy. Her leaving left a tangible void here - I can't imagine what you, her friends, went through and are still dealing with. Here's to the healing that time brings. Hope you're rockin' out up there, girl. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
