You'd need an inverter to change from AC to DC, with a stepdown transformer to change from 110 to 12vdc...

there you go.. not hard, goto radio shack, they should have what you need..

Yeah, what they said. Next question: Why?
it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

Because Radio Shack will have what you need:)

Take one gaming system, add a good flat display, mount the steering wheel, add one BMW racing style seat. The seat is power so I thought that it'd be cool to have all the power adjustment stuff working. A friend of mine is the gamer, I'm just trying to add cool points to his set up

***------------------------------------------------------------------------Too high an amperage, for one.... if he was only going to use it for short periods, it *MIGHT* work...for a while...

No the motors will only draw what amps they need

True...but the charger is not designed for long term use... that's one strike...

And strike two.... if I have a motor sitting under my ass go south, I want it hooked to the least available amperage possible....

Not True Usualy to charge a heavy duty battery you leave it on charge overnight maybe about 16 to 20 hours. How long do you intend to continously play for

Dosen't matter its only 12 volts unless youv got a supersensitive ass
also a small charger only puts out 4 amps

Sure... and how many people are actually going to REMEMBER to turn off the charger?

Again, I'd much rather have 1/2 Amp going through a seat frame I'm sitting in than 4 Amps...

With the info above given...why not just buy an adjustable recliner? Likely to be safer, too...

Because we have an powered racing style seat with a five point harness. A local company is a BMW supplier and it was their demo but the power supply is gone.

Any way to find out where they got the power supply from, and order one?
