Evelyn 0 #1 April 22, 2005 It's bad enough that I have to pay $2.86 a gallon for premium (I have a Vette so have to use premium), but our RV only get like 5 miles to the gallon and we're camping this weekend, driving from L.A. to Carpenteria, about 90 miles, so it's gonna cost a lot to get there and back. My husband told me "just relax and enjoy the weekend, don't worry about gas prices". I will try to do that but I am still really upset that gas prices are so high. Laurel 0 #4 April 22, 2005 Girl, I hear you! I have to say, that I am pretty lucky. I drive an Explorer, but I have not driven it in a long time. I have to start it once a week just to keep the battery, etc. running. I walk 4 miles to the post office and 2 miles to the grocery store rather than drive. My husband and I run other errands together and we carpool to work in his gas-saving Civic. I know not everyone can do this because time doesn't permit. In addition to the gas I save, I have also lost 6 pounds. ..................................................................... kai2k1 0 #6 April 22, 2005 Try paying 2.35 a gallon for diesel when you go through 200 gallons per day. Thats $470.00 per day. There's no truer sense of flying than sky diving," Scott Cowan

Yeah, I could find another gym closer, but I've belonged to the same gym for over 20 years and I get a discount since my husband is on the board of directors (it's a YMCA gym). Kris 0 #11 April 22, 2005 If you're driving a Vette, have an RV, and 296 jumps in one year....somehow, I don't think gas prices are a real worry.Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

True, but in most of the other places in the world they have Ubah public transit. Where I live (15 miles from home to work) I would have to change buses 5 times on two different transportations systems taking 3 1/2 hours to get there. So instead I drive 30 minutes in traffic instead. Fire Safety Tip: Don't fry bacon while naked
