boinky 0 #1 April 22, 2005 A week or so ago, I was ranting along with everyone else about the price of gas. It was easily $2.25 or more a gallon. For some strange reason, gas here in Georgia has gone down in the last week. I actually saw a station with Regular Unleaded gas for $1.93! It's really sad though. Did you ever think you'd see the day that you would be EXCITED about gas being "only" $1.93? Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? BillyVance 35 #2 April 22, 2005 I noticed that prices came down about 15 cents or so around Birmingham too... weird. Summer is coming right up and they should be shooting skyhigh... Here's hoping they don't! bob.dino 1 #3 April 22, 2005 A week or so ago, I wasn't ranting along with everyone else about the price of gas. That's because I don't drive a 4l truck that get 10mpg. The End.

The U.S has some of the cheapest GAS in the world, try paying $1.20 per LITRE, then you might be able to have a whinge about GAS prices.
skysprite 0 #5 April 22, 2005 I don't know what everyones problem is. A can of beans really ain't that expensive. Oh wait, that's not what you meant, was it?~skysprite
boinky 0 #6 April 22, 2005 But it's all relative to what you're used to. I can't help what they charge you over there...no more than you can make our companies start charging by the liter. Move to the USA. Come on over...the water's nice! Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? Dumpster 0 #7 April 22, 2005 Gee, gas prices are much higher and for some strange reason the oil companies are posting all-time-record profits. God forbid they sacrifice that profit to lower prices for consumers, though. (Just like the drug companies, gotta keep the shareholders happy!) Good thing, is, I'll be riding my motorbike to work and such much more often. I get about 40-50 MPG out of the Sporty. I guess that's sort of a silver lining - Easy Does It
