tigra 0 #1 April 25, 2005 I've always gone through Pearle Vision because I usually got a pretty decent discount from my insurance. Also, they've never given me my prescription to fill somewhere else, but with the discount form the insurance, I never really pushed either. Well, this week, I'm getting a new perscription and apparantly they've gotten in trouble for not giving patients their perscriptions so now they HAVE to give me mine. Plus, my insurance company has gotten cheap and all I got was a $25.00 discount off my exam, no free eyeglasses, no discount on the lenses! So, is 1-800-contacts the way to go? What's cool is that my eye doctor will only sell me enough contacts to last a year, forcing me to get my prescription renewed. This company just sent me an e-mail telling me my prescription was running out, so i bought another year's supply...sweet. I hate going to the doctor.
