lawrocket 3 #1 April 25, 2005 Okay, I'm finally starting to think about making one of my dreams a reality. That is to have an actual bar with tap beer. Hey, I think tap beer tastes much better than that from bottles and cans, and I think it's more economical, too. (Billvon - can I power it with solar panels?) So I'd like to know if they are hard to build, orwhether I'm better off just purchasing one. I'd like one that holds two regular beer kegs. Anyone have any experience int his department? DBCOOPER 5 #2 April 25, 2005 Two regular 1/2 kegs if a tough one.A regular refrigerator will hold two of the 1/4 kegs that are a tall as a 1/2 but not as fat.Need a co2 bottle, regulator, taps and spigots and a box big enough to hold 2 1/2's.A single tap/keg box cost about $700,with everything you need.Much cheaper to buy used. You'll just downsize after a couple hundred kegs.Replying to: Re: Stall On Jump Run Emergency Procedure? by billvon If the plane is unrecoverable then exiting is a very very good idea. AggieDave 6 #6 April 26, 2005 If you want a dual tap dual keg system and you want full sized kegs, to make one you'd have to buy two full sized fridges basically. OR, get an entry level dual tower keg dispenser. OR you could do it cheaply with copper tubing in the fridge with the kegs and air outside, but its not as good and the beer doesn't last as long in the kegs. Not to mention that if you have a party that pulling through quite a bit of beer, you won't be able to keep enough beer in the tubes to keep it cold. Feel free to PM me, I really know my way around keg dispensers, pro systems and home made systems.
