How do I save a streaming video?

I want to save THIS On my computer so when they delete it I still have a copy...

If some computer god can help me Would be much appreciated!

If I am correct unless it is a flash based site everytime you watch one of those movies it is saved to your "temporary internet files" folder. You can just go there after you watch it and find it. I usually look for the files that are the largest and then find the matching name.

Hi,

There are a few ways of doing it. One is reviewing all the links that the mms page give you. But its not for the faint hearted. Easiest way is to download a program like streambox.

PM sent, with a link to a copy you can download.

Edited to add: Btw try unplugging the internet and watching the video in your internet cache. It links to the website even though its 1.9mb. Again there are ways around it, do a search on mms stream ripping etc..

Just thought I would add that the filename in this instance was "17290020050423_000751000843p0.wmv#0;1.000;5398;57863;1:2;2:2" so not something you would work out based on the name. Under "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files". You can then double click on this, open in windows media player and then go file - add current track to playlist. Which will ensure it does not point to the net.
