I don't know what size you are, we had one as a rental and I did not like it. Its made for short people who never have to back up. You'll see ,,no head room and tons of blind spots. Its basically a lot nicer mini-van with a chopped roof. Good luck

I sat in it last night..but it was dark and rainy..and was unable to really see about blind spots and all. it is loaded though....navigation...6 disch changer...suround sound DVD system in the back for the pup's....it'll rock for sure

Xterra's are made for little people....My head hits the roof in every one i've been in....

You mean they are actually ALL the same size?! :D

That must be thanks to the fact that Renault (the French company) showed them how to make cars and market them... and yes, both the Frogs and the Japanese are short(er) than you.

Bill,

is it a pre-august 2003 manufactured car? I've heard there is a huge difference in the reliability and mechanical issue's between august 2003 and before...and the ones that were manufactred september 2003 and later...something about mechanical issue's that had to be ironed out at the plant that makes them...blah blah blah...hard to read some of these pacifica forums out there at times but are seriously considering this purchase.

The Magnum would be an awesome choice if you don't care about mileage. It looks great. The one thing I worked out with my wife is that she picks her choice and I get mine,,,we have friends and all we hear is how one poo poo's this and the other poo-poos that...how frigging gay. Frankly I had the Dodge Ram, Ford F150 and a Porsche,,,I bought a Honda Element and its the best vehicle I've ever had, driven or enjoyed. Its all about head room, ballroom and elbow room. And l;ike i said in an earlier post,,i've got 20 grand left over from not making the idiot "lets get what 's popular choice. I'll buy ya a jump if I ever meet ya. Better yet I'll buy the next Otter load,,You , me and BillVon. we'll stretch out while Bill fills us in on the next generation of Hybrids........thats where i'm going next.;)

trust me...I wish we could buy a hybrid...that would be sweet. but problem is not too many used ones out there. seem's prius people love em a little too much. Also anne is thinking room for the pup's...errr future offspring of ours. She is set on the mom mobile...so this is what we have for now.:)

A hemispherical shaped combustion chamber used to be different.

Now it is the norm. It is pure marketing with no substance. In fact, now the best engines have much flatter combustion chambers, a high dome piston and head can provide for large valve sizes, but it is bad for a lot of other reasons.

It seems a lot of car mfgrs care little about visibility. A lot of them, but not all...

Definitely true. In my old Hyundai Tiburon, the visibility was so great that I could slice through traffic like a Ginsu knife.

In my 2003 ZX-2, or any of several rental cars I've borrowed from work ('05 Mustang, '05 Celica, Escape) the blind spots have been horrible.

The Volvo S70 is another one with excellent visibility.
