Indoors, I have lots of ivy, 3 carnivorous plants, more succulents, African violets, purple heart, and the plants in our freshwater fishtank... Fruit trees Cherries 5 varieties Apples 9 varieties Peaches 3 varieties Blueberry bushes Raspberry bushes Blackberries are a pain in my butt and I am trying to get rid of them...but they grow in part of my yard. I usually plant squash pumpkins. and zuccini's. and now punkini's and zunkins ( they hybridized a couple years ago.. look weird but taste goodCucumbers tomatos, string beans, lettuce and peppers Various herbs.... and no not the smokable stuff.. mints.. chives..thyme rosemary catnip for my kitties and other herbs. Garlic about 6 different kinds... mmmmm fresh garlics You can go to the store and get one garlic clove and split it and plant it. I did that also with Jerusalem artichokes.. and ginger. Flowers.. wow.. roses and peonies primposes violets bleeding hearts, daffodills tulips. I have a Bird of paradise that has been blooming now for 10 years. I have varying ferns and bromeliads one I dug up from my uncles yard in the 1970's in Orlando and its still growing... jade plants... desert plants like cactus and agave...that I have grown from seed when I went to the desert I collected some of the fruits. About 15 kinds of trees like maples, fir, ash, chestnut, walnuts, mesquite, acacia.. all grown from seed. I plan on planting some rhodedenrons and azeleas back along the back fence.. right now the horse next door reaches over and eats anything within 3 ft of the fence..and he has pushed it over a couple times.. and came into the yard.. plus I am getting one of the electric thingies.. just for him.. I also like to take the wood ash from the wood sove in the winter and spread it into the garden areas.... and all grass clippings and mulched leaves go into it as well.
