Another skydiving dream

Ok, in this dream, I'm not so certain I was a good person, and you'll see why at the end.

I pull, and my new Sabre2 doesn't open . . . it's just a streamer. It takes me until 1 grand to get the cutaway handle pulled, and another 500 feet to pull the reserve handle, but my CYPRES had already fired, so I was embarrassed. My reserve opened just as my feet hit the ground, but I was fine.

Although I had only cutaway at 1 grand, my canopy was GONE. So I searched for hours and hours, and along the way, I found like 10 canopies. One of them was another Sabre2, same size and all. And it said "demo" on the label. So I decided to keep the one and turn in the rest (they were all 107's, 97's, etc., so I had no use for them). But then I wouldn't jump again at this boogie b/c I was afraid I'd get caught with my basically stolen canopy. Then my alarm went off, and I was pissed because I was still looking for and hadn't yet found my canopy. I really wanted to go back to sleep to find my canopy.

I had a similar dream last night too, except for the stealing part. I had a dream where I jumped with my brace still on my right wrist and when I tried to throw-out, I couldn't bend my wrist far enough to reach the hackey. I fought and fought with it until it finally opened seconds before I hit the ground. I have no idea why I didn't go for my reserve and why my Cypres didn't fire, but at least it was just a dream! It sacred me though, I woke up sweating and with my heart racing!

Don't feel bad - Katie dreamt the same thing Sat night (lost cutaway) and I dreamt I burned in under a triathalon (which is weird cause I've never even jumped one).

Dreams are just F-ed up sometimes

Last week I had a dream where I "went in" twice, because I forgot to pull my canopy.. I landed hard, but it didn't hurt. So I went up again and jumped and went in the second time.. This time the DZO ran to me and said I am grounded for the rest of the day for not pulling.. Man, I was pissed..
And then I had a dream where I setup for my hook and during my turn my lines were stretching and stretching.. They stretched a good 100 feet before I hit the ground.

Dreams are weird...
