DVD Burners

Anyone know anything about them? What would you suggest I get. Can I burn a copy of an already burnt DVD?

Get a Sony DVD+/DVD- 2 layer. Most compatibility is DVD-, Multilayer will give you more space for back ups and storage of all those video captures. RW is generally a waste of time effort and money but it's nice to have now and then,

I have a NEC, and it works great, I use dvd clone to burn movies, in fact thats what Im doing right now....

I have a Lite-ON 451s and it is AWESOME, but only 4x.

That group of people puts drives and media through more extensive testing than anyone else on the net.

The funny thing I have found with DVD drives is that with each new generation, the 'best' seems to move to a new brand. You need reviews like the above, brand alone is not enough.

I bought a Memorex external and it has been GREAT. I have had no problems at all with it. I can add more files to a DVD that already has stuff on it but I can't add to a CD.
