Rebecca 0 #1 May 11, 2005 Unless it's an event, like a dinner party or a date, eating is just a pain in the neck. I get annoyed everytime I get hungry while I'm busy, 'cause then I have to stop what I'm doing, and deal with finding something to fill my stomach with. It's an inconvenient interruption most of the time. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE good food, I just hate that I have to eat. If they made a pill that gave me all the nutrients, calories, and full-feeling I needed, I'd take it. Anyone else feel the same, or am I alone? you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Adrock 0 #3 May 11, 2005 Ummm, sorry, can't agree with you. I love eating, whether it be a quick snack, a homecooked meal, or a restaurant! Honestly, its a very good thing that I excersise, or I'd have a big problem with my love of food.

skyyhi 0 #5 May 11, 2005 I agree 100% with you. It's most annoying to have to stop and eat when all you want to do is finish whatever it is you are doing. . .________________________________________ Take risks not to escape life… but to prevent life from escaping. ~ A bumper sticker at the DZ FGF #6 Darcy

I end up skipping lunch sometimes just to keep the flow going - and then I end up headachy and grumpy. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk? swedishcelt 0 #7 May 11, 2005 I totally agree. I only remember when I am about to gnaw off my arm. It's so busy and intense at work somedays.

Thanatos340 1 #9 May 11, 2005 I completely agree with you!! I usually only eat one meal a day and rarely snack. I don’t get Hungry very often so I sometimes forget to eat. I only notice when I realize that I am feeling light headed or I am starting to get Snappy with people and generally irritated. People who know me can tell if I have gone a day or two without eating because of my mood change and will insist I go get something to eat. Eating is a BIG hassle. However on the rare occasion that I do get Hungry.. Watch out!! It is time to eat and I mean right NOW!!
Rebecca 0 #10 May 11, 2005 You know what's funny though? I've surrounded myself with foodies. Just last week, dinner was prepared for us at home by our friend Jason, a sous chef at our favorite restaurant. Many of my bartending bf's friends work in the industry, so food is often a topic... you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk? rower 0 #11 May 11, 2005 I always tell people that if I could be fed intravenously and never have to deal with the hassle of food, my life would be greatly improved.
livendive 8 #12 May 11, 2005 Disagree...but then again I almost always eat good food. I cook myself dinner almost every night, usually 3 course, sometimes more. During the week, just the good food is justification enough for the bother, and on the weekends I often get socializing as a bonus. I'd probably agree if I frequently found myself eating just to fill my belly, but I don't...it's something I look forward to for the taste. mmmm....food Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" jumpchikk 0 #13 May 11, 2005 I used to never eat. In high school I ate like a mouse. That's why I was a size 3/4. I was so busy, I never stopped to eat. At lunchtime, I would be doing my pre-calculus homework or whatever it was I had the period after lunch. I never ate breakfast and would go home and grab something and then I was out. Now, that I am older, I do make it an effort to eat more. It's a conscious effort and normally when I have other people around me (like at the DZ) reminding me to eat, then I will. But like today, I didn't take a lunch. I grabbed some peanut butter and two pieces of bread and voila that was lunch...

In fact, I just got up to make a sandwich and that sucked. Not the sandwich, but the act of making the damn thing. I love to cook. I mean, I REALLY love to cook and grill and I love food, but I like it on my terms, not my stomach's. Nothing worse than when I am into work or a video game or skydiving and I have to stop and eat.Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
