ChasingBlueSky 0 #1 May 11, 2005 You just have too much going on and someone offers you tickets to a great sold out concert at cost? I've had to turn down 6 different pairs of tix to see U2 this week. One pair was amazing how close to the stage it was......bah!_________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... kelel01 1 #2 May 11, 2005 Can't say that I've ever been in that situation before, or anything even close to it. Nobody's ever selling me anything at cost. For one thing, scalping's legal in GA.
Buried 0 #3 May 11, 2005 you could have gotten them for me.... (so i can scalp them) Where is my fizzy-lifting drink?
ChasingBlueSky 0 #4 May 11, 2005 Quoteyou could have gotten them for me.... (so i can scalp them) haha - if I had the time I would have taken them, sold them for one hell of a markup (these were for the bday show) and purchased some at a cheaper price a bit further away . Just don't have the time to do all that! I figured I could have made about $300 in profit on those tickets._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... MrBrant 0 #5 May 11, 2005 (correct me if i'm wrong, but) I believe it's only considered scalping if you sell the tickets the day of the concert. (there may also be a clause on only selling above "retail" cost - not sure of that one)
