Looking to buy CHEAP RELIABLE CAR!

Cheap and Reliable is sorta oxymoronic isn't it?

No, not at all. I picked up a '94 Toyota Tercel for $1300 last year. Since then it's taken me from Florida to Illinois and back, Florida to North Carolina and back, Florida to California, several trips between So Cal and Nor Cal and to and from work/the dz 5-7 times a week this year. Had one issue with a tire (my fault, I should have watched the air pressure closer) and one issue with a brake light switch.

Best car I've ever owned. I'd buy another.

O.K., O.K. how much do you want for it?

They also go like a bat out of hell. Nice cars.

Well, an Impreza L, which is what he'd presumably want, wouldn't be a speed demon with the 1.8 litre powerplant, but the RS models which were introduced a bit later were fairly quick, and course the WRX is shit-hot. Neither the RS nor the WRX are cheap, though B|

Hey Everyone,

Anyone got a cheap (sub 3k) car that is reliable and can be driven about 60 miles a day they want to sell me?

I am in AZ, will go a good distance to get it if I have to...
