Nope, I've been smoke free for 3 days and loving it!
Nope, and glad I never started.

Depends what you're talkin
There is a good number of peeps that smoke here north of the border too... which I can never understand cause at the price of a pack here ($10) I see people smoke away a jump a weekend

QuoteI'm just curious to know how many people on DZ.com are smokers.
(I don't smoke myself, but I have several good friends that smoke quite regularly.)
I once offered all our top managers (three), each, $1000 if they quit, payable the second they say the were quitting... They would have to pay me back if they started again...
It lasted about 20 minutes before I was paid back... That is addiction.
Have never smoked. Plus being an asthmatic, being around smoke actually has me having a difficult time breathing up to a few days after being exposed to it.
Plus, I watched one of the most wonderful men in the world - my dad to whom I have a memorial patch on my rig - die from lung, liver, and brain cancer as a result of smoking. I watched him go from a strong, wise-cracking but always loving man to a man who apologized because he was no longer the man he used to be. I saw the mental and emotional damage that the cancer did to him over and above the physical. I watched a man who was agressively fighting the cancer with everything that he had as well as all the meds they stuck in him and watched him worry more about my mom and how she was going to handle him dieing than the amount of pain he was in. Smoking just isn't worth it.

Tried cigs when I was 17. They suck.
Non-smoker here.
I still can't figure how those things got so damn popular.

I used to smoke a pack or more a day till about 3 years ago. Then I quit for 7 months cold turkey. Felt like smoking again, so I did when drinking.
Picked it back up but only smoked about a pack a week.
Quit for 5 months. Started again and then quit again for about 4 months.
Wash rinse repeat.
Now adays, I still smoke, mostly when drinking but I do not usually smoke more than 2 cigarettes during the week, if that.

Well I voted no, which still seems weird to me. I smoked a pack a day for 17 years.
But now, I'm 7 weeks without a smoke and counting!
