Listen to what others have said here about eating when you take them. You will get nauseas if you don't eat. My experience, was from a bike accident that shattered my forearm. It happened on Sunday, but I had to wait until Thursday to get into surgery. In the meantime, the pain was so bad I was stufffing a pillow in my mouth to keep from screaming, and sleep was out of the question. I got a prescription to take every 8 hours. It took care of the pain alright. It also turned me into a vegetable. All I could do was lie flat on my back with only my ears functioning. I couldn't lift my head or hold my eyes open, so I couldn't read or watch TV. All I could do was listen to the radio. Each trip to the bathroom was preceded by about 20 minutes of trying to muster up the energy to get up off the bed. That sucked, so I tried not taking it, which took me back to biting pillows. So I gave up and took it, and spent the week bored out of my mind until the surgery."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. Conundrum 1 #50 May 17, 2005 Thanks! My jaw really isn't feeling any better today, it was earlier this morning but it's gone back to being the same this afternoon, however, I did go to the Oral Surgeon this morning and made an appointment to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out this Thursday. Eek, I'm nervous.
