SuperKat 0 #1 May 20, 2005 I know that you can bring your rig on board a plane as a carry on. I want to board the plane with my carry on luggage as well. So here are my question: If I carry on my rig on the plane, should it be in my gear bag or can I lug it on the plane like a backpack and store it under the seat when I'm in the plane? I want both the carry on and rig on the plane at the same time. However, I realize that some airlines only allow you to have one carry on and maybe a backpack that you can store underneath the seat. Please let me know what you think. Thanks What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?

LilZilla 2 #3 May 20, 2005 I know of a few ppl who take their gear with them as carry ons but I think that the gear bag might be alittle too big. You could always call in advance, but I'm sure they'd just ask to see the size of the bag.
BASE813 0 #4 May 20, 2005 If you get a BASE stash bag, you will find this smaller than a normal skydive rig bag, and it will take your rig and other bits and pieces in it. This is how I carry my rig on, and it means you then only have one piece of hand luggage. HTH
