jumpergirl 0 #2 May 23, 2005 I hated my last job!! I absolutely love my current job.
 BillyVance 35 #3 May 23, 2005 Not at all. My previous company was a small architectural firm, that laid me off not once, but twice. After the 2nd layoff, I found my current job paying significantly more off the bat than I ever did at the old company. In just 5 years, I've doubled my pay when I left the shitty little firm... I quit, came home and with in one week I bought a new house and in two weeks I found out that I was going to be a daddy. Quitting that job was the best thing that ever happened to me
 genoyamamoto 0 #5 May 23, 2005 Wow that's great! Isn't it crazy looking back and thinking how fooked your old job was? Gotta go... plaything needs to spank me Feel the hate... How fucked up are they that they don't see there is so much more to life than making some other asshole rich. I think I messed up royally on several occasions and I wouldn't have tolerated it from a current employee. Yeah, it's odd that I have a lot more respect for them now than I had a year ago, especially since I hated the job so much. I havent' ever dropped by because, well, I think I'd be embarrassed. And also very proud... My wife is hotter than your wife.
 BillyVance 35 #8 May 23, 2005 QuoteWow that's great! Perhaps things are different now that you left, different in a good way? Three of the last four companies I worked for no longer exist due to what the new owners did after acquisition. The other one became unpleasant after the big boss made his millions and quit to teach highschool math. In between the last one and now I worked as a software contractor. While it paid exceptionally well and/or had great work hours it wasn't much fun working on small projects in borrowed cubicles. After finding some things to work on I now have more fun and don't regret that.
