My dog wears booties in the winter when their is snow on the ground for her arthritis in her paws. She also has a jacket for when it's below 0.

My dogs wear booties in the winter cuz they're total wusses and won't walk anywhere without them. (But they actually hate them) They also wear fleece coats cuz they'll just sit there and shiver without them. (they are really cute in them.
Once I got sucked in by the cute factor and bought some doggie PJ's for my dog. They were really cute, but how stupid! Dogs don't wear PJ's! Some people do go way overboard.

Oh, but I do love to dress my dogs up for Halloween.

There are alot of stray dogs in Chile. ALOT. On my campus there are a whole bunch of friendly dogs and everyone feeds them. Well one of the dogs got knocked up and someone (not one of the gringos) brought it a little kids fleece jacket and now this stray is walking around with a jacket on. I dont think they took into account that it covers up some of the nipples so when the puppies are born they may starve (if they dont freeze, fuck its cold!)

As far as nipples go I find that two are all you really need. We should start a charity organization to buy all the stray dogs of Chile a nice warm coat. Preferably made of cat hides and stitched together with Barbie Doll hair.

It doesn't matter if a cat is black or white, as long as it catches mice.

I swore I'd die before dressing up a dog. But we are in the process of adopting a greyhound. And it gets cold in PA during the winter, and since greys don't have much fur and no undercoat, they have to have a coat on for temperature regulation. It makes me want to gag that I'm actually going to need to buy one piece of doggie apparel.

I have boots for hiking on sharp volcanic rocks such as Three Sisters Mt range here in OR.
also have rain jacket for her walks in the rain, keeps half of her dry, now to install the mud flaps behind her paws and the other half will stay dry too
She has a backpack, (more like sattle bags) she carries her own food and water.
and last but not least the floatation device, or life jacket,
