Superman32 0 #1 May 24, 2005 I'm looking for a new laptop and would really like some suggestions. I currently have an IBM Thinkpad, its one of those desktop replacements. I really like it b/c it has a large screen, it's very sturdy and its about 3-4 years old but I still does what I need it to do. I problably don't want to spend more than about $1500. So if anything goes wrong in the first six months- bring it back with the reciept and get a full refund. (But you didn;t here that from me). mailin 0 #9 May 24, 2005 I bought a COMPAQ last summer and LOVE it! My husband just bought a Toshiba about a month ago and it too is aweomse - I really love the screen! Both of these are 15.5" screens. We bought them from Bestbuy for about $1500 each. I'm getting an Alienware laptop from the folks here at my work, but don't know much about it atm.
