SGC Memorial Day boogie DVD - Your ideas heard here :)

I decided to post it here where there's more traffic and more people will know about it:

Hi, my name is Chris and I'll be making the boogie DVD I'd like to incorporate as many ideas as I can into making the video. I've got an open schedule after the boogie and am putting in all my efforts to make it as kick ass as possible. So here's what I need:

a) YOUR FOOTAGE!!! I'm bringing a computer and 400gigs of space to fill up. Don't worry about not getting your tapes back cause I'll never have them longer than the time it took for your skydive

b) YOUR IDEAS!!! Weege suggested a film festival idea, either bring or put together now, at, after a short film and I'll add it to the end. Also thought about having the KS traditional drunken movie trivia in the extras.

As requested by Lee (the DZO) it'll be a friendly DVD, PG13-R and I respect that, so everyone can feel free to show it around their families. There will probably be some easter eggs though (and I know how to set them up so you can't just scroll right to them)

Last thing, widescreen or 4:3. Personally I love widescreen, but some don't. So voice up, it's your video.

So Now you know who I am, what I'm making it and that your opinion means...something I guess

But you need to make me look good. Everything else I could care less about

Also, not too many short films, and they'd probably be better scattered throughout. SKYDIVING, PLEASE! (And I would never make one, because I know I wouldn't be good at it, before anyone says anything. )

I'll give you my footage at the end of the day or the end of the boogie to use for the boogie video.

Personally? I'd stick to the "classic" boogie video format, make sure you have as many peoples faces in there, and try to make them look good.. Put some nice music on it, a bit for everybody....

The TV show wasn't made by me and I was missquoted a number of times

As for music, yes, suggest music, give me music etc. I'm up for about anything.

The short film idea would be seperate from the boogie video. It would be in the extras. In other words, you watch it if you want to.

I'll also take stills from anyone who takes pics. I'll set up a server for people to upload the pics to after the boogie

I'm leaving in about 24 hours for the boogie. Remember to sign-up for your DVD once you get there and meet with me at the end of the day or end of the boogie. I'm leaving Monday around 3pm to head back home.

I should have my computer set up in the hanger or elsewhere. Info will be available at manifest.
