BillyVance 35 #1 May 26, 2005 Here I sit in my car on the highway, not moving, along with everybody else. Must be another goddamn 18 wheeler wreck. Not a damn thing I can do... Except get on DZ.com on my wireless pager to bitch about it! BillyVance 35 #2 May 26, 2005 Well, I made it to work, but I was 45 minutes late. Apparently there WAS some major 18 wheeler wreck overnight. Fuel or other vehicle fluids were spilled. When I finally got to the area where it happened (all wreckage already cleared), there were sand or absorbent material everywhere... BillyVance 35 #4 May 26, 2005 Yeah... a co-worker who lives in my area was also late... She heard that the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel... masterrig 1 #5 May 26, 2005 That happens too damned often with truckers. When you stop and think of the pressure they are under. Like, getting 'hot loads'. Those that have to be delivered yesterday. Trying to make-up time. That's a big cause of truck wrecks. Never been in a wreck but, when I drove over the road, I had a lot of that. there's a stretch of I-40, between West Memphis and 'guitar town', I still don't remember.
