I do not like your Dog!

Recommended Posts

My parents are the worst.

Why do people with dogs think everyone wants to be licked by a tongue that licks asshole all day, jumped on, 'amused' by the dog 'speaking' barking on command???

My parents dog shit in my sisters back yard, my sister told them to clean it up. My parents got bent saying "Thats what dogs do"....My sister said "thats why we dont have a dog, heres a baggie".

If you own a dog, do the rest of us a favor. Keep it's shit out of our yards and assume that we do NOT like anything about your dog. Leave it up to us to decide to get near your dog or not, not vice versa.

Amen! I live in a small town with lots of land and few houses. I do NOT like seeing dogs roaming around, especially on my property! >:( That's what my Gamo pellet rifle is for! ;) A pellet up their ass sends them running off yip-yipping... :P

ANy person that shoots a non-agressive dog for simply walking across their property has a special place in Hell waiting for them.>:(

I have seen too damn many redneck "Shoot that Dog cause it was on my Property!!".

Fucking Sick Bastards.

Nothing personal Billy, But that is a VERY sore subject with me.

Dogs dont know shit about property lines. Shoot their owners for not looking after them better. Not the dogs.

Well, I have 4 cats that love to be outside, and I have seen dogs chasing them up a tree or the back deck of my house. Pisses me off when they do that. One pop at them and they avoid my house. It works...

I'm totally on your side here but aren't there leash laws for that very reason? I would be concerned that someone lost a pet if I saw one wandering or chasing my cat. I'd be more apt to find out where they came from to help them out instead of make their day worse. I can't imagine getting lost and then having someone shoot at me.

But I LOVE dogs. I was never a cat person until recently when I got one:)

Im not for shooting dogs either but when I step in dog shit on MY property and I don't own a dog, I get really pissed.

I say, get the shit on a shovel and actually throw it on the owner. All over him. I got it on my foot, he should get worse.

I LOVE your kids though. Kids don't shit in my yard and kids think Im really funny.

I am not a dog fan, and IT PISSES ME OFF when I have to "groom" my yard for dog shit before my kids go out to play. We have a dog, I can tolerate him, but I even have a hard time doing that sometimes. I cant stand to be around anyone or anything that demands attention. Dogs are the #1 worst about that. I guess thats why I have cats, when I feel like showing them attention, they enjoy it, the rest of the time they leave me the "F" alone....

And dogs stink, no matter how often they are bathed...After I pet a dog, I feel gross, my hands feel so dirty....yuck!:|

I love dogs and cats! I'm addicted to Animal Cops too. I just can't fathom how people can treat an animal badly. It makes me really mad too.

On the other hand, I would protect my pets if a dog came into the yard to harass them but I'd probably use a hose or maybe paint balls or something. Shooting them's just mean. >:( It does really irritate me when pet owners don't train their pets and then let them run around free though.

(I still love ya Billy!)

Why on earth do you own a dog if you don't like them? That doesn't make any sense to me.

My dogs are great for keeping the cat population down in my yard. I've given them the green light and told them its open season on cats with no limit.
Fucking cats. I don't get them. Why would anyone want to care for an animal that doesn't return the favor, and provides absolutely nothing in the way of protection to the home and property? Can some one please explain that to me?
Dogs are mans best friend. The hunt, they protect, the give honest loving companionship. Cats on the other hand have little to no utility beyond hunting mice and I can do that with a mouse trap

I would have to agree with that! If you shoot my dog just for walking on your property then get ready! You wont have to wait until you go to hell, I will make it for you here on earth! Granted a lot of dog owners don't clean up after them if they shit in someones yard but that is the owners fault not the dogs! I would gladly take an ass chewing from a property owner for something my dog did but if you take it out on my dog you just declaired WAR.
I wish I was half the person my dog thinks I am.

I've always thought cats smelled much worse.

No... they actually "clean" themselves! :P

As for the comments earlier on my gun and dogs, let's just say I protect my cats zealously. None of the dogs I've seen on my property belong to anyone as far as I know, I've never seen a collar on any of them. There's only one house within view from my house, and it's directly across the street. They don't have dogs.

There was a stray dog that got hit by a car almost in front of my house. I took it to the vet. Vet said it would survive and treated it. I brought it back home and put it in an unused bathroom with food and water. It would never let me touch it, leading me to think that it was a feral dog. It was really a pup, looked like a yellow lab/pit bull mix. When it looked well enough, I set its stuff outside and put it out. A few hours later it was gone.

There was a pack of feral dogs that ran around the area. Chow/lab/pit bull mixes, not exactly nice family pets. Most of them eventually got hit by cars, but I took my shots at them when I saw them on my property. I have a right to keep my property dog-free.

If, you're going to shoot them, make it a clean kill. Use a 30.06 or .357. You 'wing' em with a pellet gun and they die a slow death from that lead pellet. Better yet, don't you have an animal control where you live? Give them a call. I'm not gettin' on you, I just think, there's a better way. If, I shoot something, I'll kill it. I don't want it out there hurting. Just a thought.;)

so by this rational, its cool to kill cats that stray into my yard. Is that correct? I would never kill a cat and my dogs are far to slow to ever catch one. I am willing to allow cats to be cats but they must do it somewhere else other than my yard.

Like I said. Shoot the owners, Not the Pets.

If Someone’s cat came in my yard, Should I shoot it?

NO.

Actually I don’t have any pets, But I do remember a Friend who had a Dog that was the sweetest dog in the world. The dog got out 1 time and happened to walk across a neighbor’s yard. The neighbor shot and killed the dog. Talk about a SICK FUCK!!

Lots of people with that exact same attitude here in the south. If I ever see ANYONE shoot a childs pet because the animal walked across some imaginary property line, One of us is about to get their ass kicked.

Now if a Dog is being aggressive and/or tries to Bite a Human that is a different story.

You have your opinion and I have mine. My cats are loved, and they know it. They love me back. I play catch with them. They come when I call their names. They sit or lay on my lap when I watch TV. They sleep on my bed at night. One of them loves to sit on my shoulder. I am well-connected to my cats, so excuse me if I see any free-roaming dogs on my property as a threat to my cats.

why do your cats have a right to roam free and dogs dont?

(Not that I am saying that dogs should be allowed to roam free. Just courious why your cats should be allowed outside to roam around and dogs shouldnt be?? Neither have any comprehention of Property lines.)

And again, I am not picking on Billy here. I know he is a good guy and this is in no way personal.

I respect your opinion, but I have also had problems with a feral cat attacking my cats. One or two of my cats would come in with bleeding wounds from time to time, and I've seen them fighting with the feral cat. I just got tired of repeated trips to the vet to have them treated. In the past 3 years, I've hit that feral cat with maybe 5 or 6 pellets. Each time it disappeared for several days, but always came back. Doesn't appear to be hurting either.

But yeah, it would be better to just get animal control to come set a trap or something just to get it away from here.

I am perfectly willing to admit that I lack the cat loving gene but clearly cats lack the Kevin loving gene. I have lived with 4 cats in my day and all acted the same way. They'd Approach looking of attention and once they got their fill, they'd bite or scratch with out warning. I have never in my life abused a cat nor will I ever but they have abused me.
Question. How many lives have been saved by search and rescue cats?

Dogs come just after children in my scheme of things.

There was this woman that actually used to drive her dog on to our block, get ot out of her car, let it shit on my lawn (and others) and then put it back in the car and drive off, leaving the shit there. I lurked her one day and caught her fucking dog and wouldn't give it back. She threatned to go to the poilce, and so I let her. While she was there, I drove the thing to a shelter and dropped it off.

By the time I got back without the dog, the Police weren't interested and she was nearly throwing a rod. Apparantly it took her a week to find the dog in the shelter, and cost her money to get it back. I know this becuase she was good enough to come and tell me. She's lucky I deliberately took it to a no kill facility.

The end to all this was that I only ever saw her on our block one more time. She came and knocked on my door about two months later in tears. Her dog had just died and she wanted me to be the first know, and hoped I was happy.

I told her I was actually, as I really didn't miss the little presents. To be nice, I asked when it had died. She said "15 minutes ago". The first thing she thought of when it died was to hop into her car and go tell me, an asshole stranger. I had a vision in my head of it lying on the dining room floor with all four legs in the air in a comical manner, and I lost it. She told me and everyone within hearing (the whole neighborhood) , that I was a heartless asshole (they already knew that), and stormed off. I have never seen her again.

My dog story. All true.

Where are you now Crazy Dog Lady ? I stole your dog, but you stole my heart. I miss you. Let's have coffee. I'll bring the scooper.
