Duckwater 0 #1 May 27, 2005 I believe she is truly the real deal. Unlike Sarah Fisher, who was put into a ride too early, Dancia has paid her dues. If she wins, it will elevate the IRL popularity by a factor of 100%. And, she is HOT! Did you see her legs on Letterman? (Her Boss) --
SkiD_PL8 0 #2 May 27, 2005 I think she has a legitimate shot at it. I however don't think she will take it this year. Greenie in training.

DrewGPM 0 #5 May 27, 2005 There hasn't been a rookie winner at the 500 since 1913, so i'd say no. It is tough to win at Indy on your first try. Lots of hype, anxiety, etc that throws you off your game. She did have one of the fastest cars during qualifying, so you can't count her out. I'm pulling for Buddy Rice to win again. Buddy got his first ride from a friends dad. Super nice guy. If I remember correctly, Buddy called him the day after he won last year to say thanks. GO BUDDY!!!! Duckwater 0 #6 May 27, 2005 Yes...but...he looks like a Bulldog......She is HOT!......They both drive for Rahal/Letterman........I say GO Danica! --
SkiD_PL8 0 #7 May 27, 2005 That was what I was thinking. I didn't know it had been that long since a rookie won though. Greenie in training.
AndyMan 7 #8 May 27, 2005 She can. Not this year, maybe next year... But she definately can. _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.
masterrig 1 #9 May 27, 2005 I have no doubt, she's the real deal. In the past, the women drivers I've seen at Indy, wreck within about 30-laps. I'm not saying she's gonna wreck but, I just don't think her chances of winning are that great. If, she finishes, I can see her in the top - 10. She might be hot but, she's engaged. Zenister 0 #11 May 28, 2005 as a rookie, not very likely... but i certainly hope she does in the near future...____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

kingbunky 3 #13 May 29, 2005 oh well, 4th ain't bad. was doing a pretty good job (after she took out a few other cars on a restart), but was running out of fuel at the end."Hang on a sec, the young'uns are throwin' beer cans at a golf cart." masterrig 1 #14 May 29, 2005 Yeah and Weldon's car had to be pushed into the winner's circle... out of methanol! Strange... Chuck
BoostedXT 0 #15 May 29, 2005 I wish her the best...she did very well and the young lady sure can drive.....I hope she continues to race and I hope she does well. kingbunky 3 #16 May 29, 2005 after the last round of pit stops, she didn't stop, hedid, and they said he was running full rich to catch her, and she was running very lean to conserve fuel. it's all a gamble at that point."Hang on a sec, the young'uns are throwin' beer cans at a golf cart." masterrig 1 #18 May 29, 2005 I just thought it was ironic, he pitted and she didn't, as you stated, yet, HE had to be pushed into the winner's circle after winning. I can't recall who the driver was, years ago, who crossed the finish line (won) out of fuel. I agree, wholeheartedly, it's ALL a gamble in racing. I was really happy to see Andretti's team win.Chuck
ryoder 1,590 #19 May 29, 2005 QuoteWhat's her face, did a good job. Made some 'rookie' mistakes but all in all, showed she has the stuff to race. ...and as CrewKeith would say.
