ACMESkydiver 0 #1 May 30, 2005 I AM SO EXCITED!!! I've been wanting to see this show since I was 5 YEARS OLD and now, I will see my dream come true. This will be a good year for me. A year to see many childhood fantasies realized...I'll get my wings, see the most beautiful animals in the world, and have my freedom. Yes, 2005 is awesome! -Even better yet, I'm taking my 9 year old daughter with me, and we can enjoy my childhood dream together. Gotta go, I'm getting all emotional. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

highfly 0 #6 May 30, 2005 Did you know that they actually bleach the horses hair to get it a brilliant white? www.myspace.com/durtymac
ACMESkydiver 0 #7 May 30, 2005 QuoteDid you know that they actually bleach the horses hair to get it a brilliant white? It's not so uncommon. We used to bleach horse's tails, mostly, prior to show to get them nice and white. -Of course, there was the time that my instructor made the bleach solution too strong, and poor Misty's tail hair broke off right at the end of her tail! She was a beautiful dapple-grey with white main and tail...but after that, she had a 'shorty' tail for awhile. Dunno about bleaching the whole horse though. I never showed any 'fancy' horses, we were just having fun in our schooling shows. I suppose it would work, as long as that particular horse doesn't have sensitive skin, which many of them do. FYI, did you know that they are actually born dark brown/black? The dark hair falls out as they're growing up, and they grow into their white coats. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
