ACMESkydiver 0 #1 May 30, 2005 ...my daughter says cheerfully as we are watching 'Return of the Jedi'. Daddy and I burst out laughing, and so does she...then she stops and asks, "Isn't that what it's called?" "No sweet-pea, it's the 'Milennium Falcon'. " "Oh! I knew it was some kind of bird!" Tee-hee.... She's just as goofy as her mommy... Anyone else experience Star Wars confusion?~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. Lordy it took me 18 seconds to get that... -Star Wars confusion runs in the family, apparently. My mom and dad went out on a date to see Episode 3, and mom called my sister and said that her and pop were confused...it was all about how this young kid became Darth Vadar, not what happened after the Empire fell... "Mom!" my sister says, "It's a prequel, not a sequel. It happened before the other Star Wars movies!" "Ohhhhhh." My mom says back, "Well now it all makes sense! Your father and I were totally lost." Mom and dad aren't as hip to the Star Wars story as the rest of us.~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

Nightingale 0 #6 May 30, 2005 Klingons are way cooler than whatever the heck JarJar is supposed to be (Gungan??). Episode 1 was so bad that I haven't bothered to see 2 or 3. Gimme Star Trek, Babylon 5 or Stargate SG1 any day over the star wars prequels. The original 3 movies were really good, though.
quatorze 1 #7 May 30, 2005 QuoteStargate SG1 Glad I'm not the only one, and tonight being Monday, it is SG-1 from 6-11 pm lovely rainey Memorial day I'm not afriad of dying, I'm afraid of never really living- Erin Engle
Nightingale 0 #8 May 30, 2005 Hehe... some friends of mine got into a debate a while back. They were arguing over who was hotter, Carter or Hathor. The votes were split 50/50. My vote was for Carter, but the guys said that since I'm a girl, I didn't get a vote.
Amazon 7 #9 May 30, 2005 Quote Stargate SG1 Gee I have all the first 7 years on DVD.... and all of the last season on video.. waiting for July for the next installments...and dont forget Atlantis...
Nightingale 0 #10 May 30, 2005 I haven't been able to see Atlantis. It was on when I was in school, and I suck at programming my VCR, so I figured I'd wait for the DVDs. I've been borrowing the DVDs for SG1 from a friend so I can watch them in order. I've seen most of the episodes, but couldn't really follow the story arcs because they were all out of order on cable tv. I'm halfway through season 2 now. =)

But I have heard from two people that this is a good movie and much better than the first two. I think GL should have let someone who really knows how to direct make the movie. He is much better as a producer. "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"
