kelel01 1 #1 June 1, 2005 Maybe this should be in the Women's Forum, but man . . . do you ever have one of those days where you just hate everything about yourself? They don't come along all that often, but when they do . . . it's like being hit by a truck. And I think it's usually prompted by seeing pics of myself. So it happens once every 6 months or so. Bleh. The only positive I can find right now is that I can spell.
Dagny 0 #2 June 1, 2005 Silly girl. Don't hate yourself! You have the most beautiful smile I've ever seen! And, let me just say....that you have come SUCH a long way since when we first met. Chick, you have totally surpassed me in skydiving and I can still recall when you all brand new to the sport. You're damn cool, Kel! yardhippie 0 #7 June 1, 2005 Dont sweat it chicka! I have my bummer days too, Im sure everyone gets down to a point. When I do get down, I try to see the lighter side of things. Cuz there is always someone worse off than you. (or me). Its all good, have a laugh on me! kelel01 1 #8 June 1, 2005 How about if you have a laugh on me? This morning, I was leaving my bedroom, which is an absolute WRECK. I tripped over one of the 3 open suitcases on my floor, twisted my ankle, and proceeded to fall up against the corner of the wall. I now have a nice bruise on my forearm. There's another positive: strong bones. I drink lots of milk.

BillyVance 35 #11 June 1, 2005 My wife just had a moment like that yesterday. After a hard day at work she was really tired. On her way home she had stopped at a traffic light. Unthinking, she moved forward and all of a sudden some guy zoomed by her from the left and she thought he'd cut her off by running through the light and she got mad and made some profane sign language, getting the attention of the man in the car sitting next to her. Then she looks up at the traffic light, it was still red... D'oh!! She was never so embarrassed! Her face was as red as the light... You'll have better days! Maybe I made you laugh... jumpchikk 0 #13 June 1, 2005 I have had a couple of those days... All I can say is, making people laugh and surrounding myself with my friends is what's keeping my chin up these days. I feel crushed. I feel like the air has just been taken right out of me and I'm trying so hard to breathe again... It will get better Kel... I'm not saying this only for your benefit, but for mine as well... Maybe not today, but soon, and for both of us. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

There's another positive: strong bones. I drink lots of milk. LOL. that sucks. I remember when I had a broken ankle, Id spent Rantoul on a golf cart, my wife was in Mexico for 2 more weeks, I was unemployed and trying to care for myself (just gettin groceries was a nightmare), my dog, and my house. So Id been outside and crutching my way through the house when one of my crutches came out from under me. I hit the ground so hard I couldnt get back up right away. I never felt so helpless. I did get up and thought ya know, I did do this to myself, but Im still here, Im gonna get fixed, and be back to normal soon. Yeah it took a long time, but now Im happy it happened. It made me look at a few things, and Ive adjusted my life accordingly. peace!
