Adriandavies 0 #1 June 1, 2005 Nothing interesting EVER happened in the village I was brought up in until Dan Wheldon won the Indy 500 last weekend! At last someone famous (in America at least) has come from Emberton! It is a charming small village in rural north Buckinghamshire, England, with a population of 500, a small primary school, one pub, one church, one road in and out, one park and now home to the Indy 500 winner. The only thing that was important this year, judging by the media coverage, was who came in fourth place.
