DOES ANYONE HAVE A BETTER WAY TO DO THIS? Better than what OTHER way ? You are not stating anything we can give you an alternative to. love2flyhigh 0 #3 November 25, 2008 OK well first thing I dont have a camera right at the moment the old lady has it in the car and shes at work. But I have done this once before and I remember just pulling on the tap and pushing back the other side of the soft link that locks the tab in and then I pushed the tab back through. But I cant get enough room to push the tab back through this time. Dont know why..... Im going to see if I can find that web cam thing to see if I can use that to take pics with. love2flyhigh 0 #5 November 25, 2008 ok now that I have been working on this for a long time I found that I am just stupid! Someone had tacked through the soft link. So second question are they still ok to take the tacking out and put them on the new risers?
likestojump 3 #6 November 25, 2008 yes, as long as the tacking was done through the tab, it wont be a problem. make sure not to damage the riser when cutting the tacking.
