Don't go man - there's things you don't want to know about your soon to be son-in-law! You're right! WTF am I going to the kid's bachelor party for? ....well, they were talking about getting a stripper...and the drinks would have been free (Sorry, son, no free drinks for me, no wedding). But that doesn't get me more jump time.My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Bolas 5 #6 June 9, 2005 QuoteBut that doesn't get me more jump time. Skipping the bachelor party doesn't give you more jump time? It let's you jump on Saturday morning. You really think after a bachelor party in Orlando you could jump the next morning? Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh. flyangel2 2 #9 June 9, 2005 You are the father of the bride, and you are thinking about missing the rehearsal? You can jump another weekend, but your daughter needs you there.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey
skymama 37 #10 June 9, 2005 Please tell me that you're just kidding about missing any part of your daughter's wedding festivities. Please. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
popsjumper 2 #11 June 9, 2005 Well, Skyyhi and IanHarrop do have a valid point there...bachelor party is probably not a good idea...let the kid have fun without being stiffled by the old man...I mean it's his death sentence, not mine. And now that the initial shock is over and I'm able to see more clearly, I will be doing the other things - with a smile. She'd probably kick my butt if I didn't, eh? Yes, j/k Skymama...I'm really not a total asshat. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus.
