Rebecca 0 #1 June 9, 2005 Nasal, sinus and chest congestion, complete with cough, sneezing, and stuffy-headed retardation. And I'm at work. Thanks Mom and Dad, for this lovely gift. (Bless their hearts, they've been sick with this crud longer than I have.) Oh well, could be worse - no headache or bodyaches (yet, knock on wood). That's what really knocks me out. Thank God for Theraflu. Anyone else all gross and coughy and sickly today? Commiserate with me!! Wah! you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk? SkymonkeyONE 4 #2 June 9, 2005 I have had the crud for a couple of weeks now. No amount of mouthwash or brushing gets that smell out of your mouth either. Spitting the big green loogies is fun, but I tire of coughing all the stuff up.
Rebecca 0 #3 June 9, 2005 Sorry to hear you're blech too. Smell? What smell? Do I have bad breath? I can't tell. Just to taste it, I had to squirt so much of that awesome red Vietnamese hot sauce in my Pho last night, even the waitress was raising her eyebrows. The coughing hurts! My voice timbre is closer to my manly boyfriend's now too. Upside, the dog pays better attention to a deeper voice. Hope you feel better soon, Chuck! you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
Beerlight 0 #4 June 9, 2005 My GF (also an H-towner) has been coughing for 2 solid weeks! What gives? But luckily, she hasn't transferred that crud to me.....yet. Should I be worried? Is it the dreaded "whooping cough"? Well that's it, I'm kicking her to the curb after work...

Rebecca 0 #6 June 9, 2005 I don't think it's whooping cough, but if your gf's had it weeks, and Chuck, and my folks, and now probably me, you DO NOT want this! I've been sleeping in the guest room to avoid giving it to my bf - that way I can toss and turn and cough and hack all I have to without ruining his night's sleep. I'd recommend that... you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
Rebecca 0 #7 June 9, 2005 QuoteYou eat Pho?! I knew you were a cool chick, but I had no idea! Hell yeah! That stuff rocks! Especially at the authentic places where they put MSG in it. Mmmmm MSG... The place we went last night was really good. A little less 'authentic' in that they used nice slices of white breast meat instead of the whole chicken, but that actually made it more "comfort food" as opposed to a culinary adventure. It was cheap too, and just around the corner! I'm thinking it's time for some Be Bim Bob on Saturday - Korean food rocks too! you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk? Burritos we can call Phat Chu Hot. Mangos could be Drip Mae Chin. Or how about calling garlicy noodles Bahd First Date. No? -------------- (Do not, I repeat DO NOT, take my posts seriously.) SkymonkeyONE 4 #10 June 9, 2005 I don't feel bad at all. It's just that I am full of fleghm. This is not bad at all; in 1998 I had it for nearly nine months. It simply would not go away. We kept passing back and forth in the office I worked in. Chuck
