ChileRelleno 0 #79 February 11, 2005 You know what? The longer I sit here thinking about that her honor "The Judge", the madder I get....... The way I see it she "Lied" to Mike through her teeth about her hands being tied on procedural and being forced to dismiss his TRO. You were there, she said the "Procedural rules", "The Law", "The Supreme court" even were very strict on TRO's, YET... Mike stated... Quote I retained an attorney today who said the error I made could have been easily corrected by the judge if she felt like hearing the case. Obviously, she didn't. Her ----- " The Judge" (No honorific entitled now) should be called to task for the lie, perjured herself as far as I'm concerned! Remember how she was acting and talking, "If, my court has "time" today we'll hear this TRO." I now believe she had no intention of hearing Mikes TRO! As stated elsewhere, "That courtroom was empty and the lights were off before we even left the building." This Chile pepper is getting HOT! GRRRRRRR!!! jumpdoc 0 #85 February 11, 2005 i (houseboy) called wlox and told them about our plight. the woman i talked to said it sounded like a very good story and wanted to know if anyone would be willing to talk on camera. i told her it shouldn't be a problem. she was looking specifically for people whose sole or major portion of income came from skydiving whose families would be affected. i also insisted that she contact mike for first hand details. Nightingale 0 #89 February 12, 2005 the federal court judges could still be "locals". However, since federal judges are there for life, there is the idea that they won't be influenced by local opinion, because unlike state judges, they don't have to worry about re-election. ChileRelleno 0 #90 February 12, 2005 Good'ol'girl local... IMO if that Judge was in any way untruthful or not fully forthcoming about her abilities to proceed on the TRO instead of dismissing it then she needs to be brought to account for her inaction. If she could have Had Mike swear to the validity of the affidavit (or some such) then and there then she should have. I don't think she was not interested from the beginning in hearing the TRO, she either had something else to do that day (outside of court), just didn't give a rats-ass, doesn't like Pro Se's in her court or......... She was influenced. ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

DontPanic 0 #98 February 13, 2005 QuoteIt's a whole new ballgame. The attorneys met and skydiving will continue as usual this weekend until a federal injunction can be filed next week. Thanks to everyone who came out to support Gold Coast today. Mike Igo has managed to keep us jumping, at least for a while. The biggest difference today is that they won't let us use our parking lot, we have to park a few yards further away. I'd also like to thank Dropzone.com for providing a means of getting the word out about the problems at Gold Coast. I ran into many people today who have been avidly following this situation during the week via this site. It would be much more difficult to gather support for defending our dropzone without a site like this.
