kbordson 8 #26 June 11, 2005 WHERE you live is not as important as HOW you live.... I believe whether you truly enjoy a place has more to do with you than the place. Now granted, there are some places that wouldn't seem so very nice to live, but I've seen plenty of grumbling middle class peoples and just as many happy dirt poor Peruvians or Guatemalans. It's not the location or the size of the real estate.... It's your feel of the land and the psyche of the people around you. just my 0.02 Karen
Guest #27 June 11, 2005 right where I'm at - 40 min east to dz, 45 min west to sandy ocean beaches, 40 min to water skiing on alpine resoivers, 90 min to snow skiing You can have it good, fast, or cheap: pick two.
freeflir29 0 #28 June 11, 2005 I own a house in the mountains of Montana so I have that covered. The only problem.........it gets really cold and the winter is long. Plus........there's not much in the way of DZ's out there. Unless you count the one week of Lost Praire each year. So.....the purchase of a new truck and 34Ft trailer was REQUIRED in order to tour the more Southern DZ's during the winters.
