Had a good weekend also. Got to eat some pie friday night. Took Scott Millers essentials, next day one of my breaks ended up tied to the keeper and had a sweet landing on my rears.

No beer owed this weekend.. had a nice Saturday with some work and a crazy graduation party and did some nice jumps on Sunday, a big head down way (um.. video of course, cause I ain't docking on no 9 way head down) and a hybrid..

Made my 100th skydive this weekend on the 3rd jump of the day!!!!
started a 2-way base then one of my friends came and docked on my side. all of a sudden my chute was opening. got hung out at 10,000, it took me a second to realize it was done on purpose by my friend. but I did enjoyed the view and the ride down

Fun weekend except I was stuck behind manifest
I did my 1st coach jump(Karl you kicked ass!) Did my 1st student talk down where the student rode a streamer about 2000ft then chopped and landed out with a good PLF, then an hour later went up for jump #2
Yes I know I could owe 2 cases but they only put my name on the beer board for 1

Fun stuff this weekend!

Had that 8 way hybrid - it was neat.

Interesting exit yesterday - almost fell off the plane - I was screaming "GOOOOOO."

Of course, Amanduh saw the whole thing.

1 very fun road trip to try to find a dz that had jumpable weather on Saturday. We made it Skydive Alabama, but it was still raining!

No jumps and no firsts! Had a nice weekend anyway!

I 5.5 solo to check the clouds, first opening resulting in broken lines, ordered my first brand new canopy. It may have been the first time that the people on the ground actually heard me shout the "F" word at opening, but I'm not sure.

Had one awesome hop and pop Saturday. Sunday was a little more exciting. I'd been having to fly with my right toggle at half brakes to counter a built-in left turn, and had been jumping on relatively cool no wind days. Sunday was hot and I was landing into a ~9 mph wind. At about 50 ft, I felt my canopy start to stall. I instantly let both toggles up to regain airspeed and my canopy immediately began to turn left. That's the first time I've ever impacted the ground in a totally horizontal fashion with the front of my body. I've never had grass stains on my chest strap and front of my shirt before.

5280 Boogie at Mile Hi! Had an awesome weekend, and among my many firsts are first boogie attended, first time jumping out of a Skyvan, first time I was able to hold a sit, and sooo many more!
