Brian425 0 #1 June 15, 2005 In the Instructors forum, there is a person asking about getting a Tandem for their husband who has cancer. Although I am not a tandem instructor, I offered a few $$ and to help arrange something at my home DZ if possible. A member here on DZ.com PM'd me with some kind words and wondered why there is no skydiving organization that works with Make a wish foundation, etc. Is there such an organization? If not, could we make one? What do you see as the major hurdles to overcome before it could become real? i.e $$, liability, etc. I know that most DZ's do something for charity and we have JFTC. I think that it would be great to try to get affiliated with a major organization to help others and put a smile on some faces. Everyone could benefit.
